Gah. Why do so many good games have to come on holiday season? (Marketing, duh) All I want to do for the Christmas season is to play Skyrim or Assassin's Creed on my Xbox and not go outside for the whole duration of the break. Not to mention the Doctor Who Christmas special is coming. Doctor Who aside, I WANT TO PLAY THESE FRAKKEN GAMES!
Back to the video games, I've been in love the Elder Scrolls series and Skyrim is just what I need from the break from Oblivion (which I rated as, meh). Skyrim looks amazing: the graphics, the magic, the excitement in playing it, it's breathtaking. I've played the Elder Scrolles games on my PC, but I think it's about time I bought some decent games for my Xbox since it's usually played by little children and drunk college students (shout out to the guy that puked on my black controller, now I'm forced to use my white controller that has a busted B button). Skyrim might be a step-up to a better console experience. On Skyrim I can play countless hours doing whatever the hell I want from getting eaten by bears or just punching bastards.
On the other hand, some of my friends have been going on and on about the new Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I believe it's the last of the franchise (but hopefully not because it's a REALLY GOOD game). The video above is a video from Hank Green of the vlogbrothers. He has played through Brotherhood and has guided me in the game (but for the most part the nerdfighters helped me in my times of confusion). This game just looks so epic and with the story it brings makes me more excited to get it. I'd probably buy this first before Skyrim. I don't know why but I feel more compelled in playing this game along with my comrades than just playing Skyrim by myself.
I guess that's everything. I'm just so obsessed with the games that went out this year. I really want to start playing them right now. I wish it would just magically appear into my hands.
